Electus has bolstered its teams across several departments with promotions and hires.
The personnel shuffles come at the heels of John Pollak’s promotion to the role of president, worldwide television and international last month. The move also saw Max Levenson promoted to VP, current and development, responsible for leading the development of Electus’ unscripted and branded content.
On the unscripted side, Jonathan Schaerf and Steve Marovitch has been promoted to managers of unscripted development and current series.
Previously, Schaerf worked as an executive assistant for Electus CEO Chris Grant. Reporting directly into Grant, Schaerf is currently working on such series as The Toy Box (pictured, ABC) and Running Wild with Bear Grylls (NBC).
Marovitch previously worked as a development assistant at Electus. Reporting into Levenson, Marovitch is currently working on series including Discovery’s Darkness.
Electus has also hired Nicholette Dixon as manager of unscripted development. Previously, Dixon worked at Warner Bros.-owned digital video service Machinima as development coordinator. She will also report into Levenson.
Elsewhere, Max Richards has been elevated from manager to director of sales and acquisitions for Electus International, in addition to spearheading the company’s sports endeavors as newly appointed head of sports. Richards reports into Pollack.
Electus has also hired Stephanie Ward as director of business affairs. Ward joined the team from Discovery, where she served as associate attorney for more than five years.
“This group of young talent possesses the drive, creativity, and work ethic that mirrors the Electus brand,” said Grant, in a release. “The value of investing in and fostering the growth of your team cannot be overstated, and we congratulate everyone on their well-deserved promotions and welcome the new additions to the Electus family.”
