Flame Distribution taps Campbell and Corsak for VP content sales positions

Flame Distribution has tapped Robyn Campbell as VP content sales, ANZ and Anne Corsak as VP content sales, North America.

Campbell comes to Flame from ABC Commercial where she was the senior sales manager, tasked with looking after the company’s sales business for Australia, New Zealand and Asia. Before ABC, she was a senior sales manager for BBC Worldwide, selling their catalog into Australia and New Zealand.

Elsewhere, Corsak joins the distribution company with a 14-year career in the media industry. She has developed connections with the key buyers across North America and will place Flame’s growing catalog into the North American market. Corsak continues to consult for Janson Media as acquisitions executive for VOD.

Campbell and Corsak will report directly to Fiona Gilroy, content sales and acquisitions director at Flame Distribution.

All3Media International takes “Letterbox” and “Miss Wildcard”

Independent distributor all3media international has inked deals to distribute Hindsight Productions’ family game show Letterbox and South&Browse’s Miss Wildcard.

Originally commissioned by BBC2 in the UK, the Letterbox (15 x 30; pictured) format challenges pairs of contestants to crack a series of passwords in an attempt to take home a cash prize. Hosted by Mel Giedroyc, on BBC2, All3media International is taking Letterbox to the global market.

In Miss Wildcard, female celebrities enter specialized pageant competitions as wild card contestants. Each 60-minute episode sees two celebrities attempting to win the crown at two pageants, ranging from Miss Klingon in the USA to Miss Burlesque in Italy. The format was originally developed for Germany’s Sky One by South&Browse who was recently acquired by all3media Deutschland from Germany media and tech company Wige Media.

All3media International is taking its first shows from Panda Television – part of the Objective Media Group – to market. Partners in Rhyme, inspired by the Obama Llama game, is available for format sales, and the entertainment company’s new studio series Wedding Day Winners which will launch officially in 2018.

These new formats add to recently-announced launches of PosVideo’s The Curling Quiz, originally commissioned by Dutch pubcaster NPO1, and Xtreme Media’s Hit It, the ATF Formats Pitch winner now commissioned for production in Singapore by MediaCorp Suria.

Bunim/Murray Productions launches kids division at Mipcom

Bunim/Murray Productions will launch its official kids division at Mipcom with the new copro series Gotcha from Billy Crystal’s company, Jennilind Productions

The copro youth-focused prank series features a group of teens who are passionate about pranks. They devise and execute pranks on themselves, celebrities and innocent bystanders.

Gotcha was developed by Crystal and Jennilind Productions, Bunim/Murray Productions and Nutz Productions, the production arm for Ananey Communications.

Banijay International, the distribution arm of Banijay Group, is selling the worldwide format rights for Gotcha, which is already confirmed to launch this December on Nickelodeon Israel
