AMC Networks International (AMCNI) has lifted long-time executive Marco Frazier to the newly created role of senior VP of international distribution – digital and new platforms.

Based in AMCNI’s Rome offices, Frazier (pictured) will be responsible for overseeing the global distribution of AMC Networks International’s linear channels with new and digital media platforms.

Frazier will continue reporting into Ed Palluth, executive VP of global distribution at AMCNI.

With more than 20 years of distribution experience, Frazier most recently served as SVP of distribution and business development for the UK and Western Europe, and has helped launch and develop networks throughout the EMEA region.

Prior to joining AMC Networks, Frazier led ESPN’s EMEA affiliate sales and distribution department as director, where he built a paying subscriber base of more than 55 million paying homes across ESPN America and ESPN Classic.┬áPreviously, Frazier was VP of business development at Creative Networks International, VP of international development at Sitcom, and director of affiliate sales at Independent Film Channel.
