Global broadcaster/producer Insight TV has inked a production partnership with South Korea-based media conglomerate CJ E&M.

The deal will see the companies co-producing two one-hour films, both of which are set to examine how athletes in Pyeongchang, a northern county, draw on technology to augment their performances.

The films will be distributed via CJ E&M’s South Korean network, across Europe through Insight TV’s channel and globally on Insight’s online SVOD platform.

“We have been looking for a European production partner that can provide the high-quality content that our viewers expect,” said CJ E&M SVP content Andrew Jae Lee, in a statement. “Insight TV is an excellent fit for us and we look forward to showing the completed project in the coming months.”
