IM Global Television’s unscripted and alternative division has inked a co-development deal with Ukrainian media co FILM.UA Group.

The venture is part of full-service television studio’s move to create and co-develop new content across all platforms for the worldwide market.

FILM.AU has operated in the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) and Central and Eastern European (CEE) markets for the past 15 years, focusing on creating and producing non-scripted content.

Phil Gurin (pictured), IM Global Television’s president of unscripted and alternative, also recently announced deals with other prodcos including a co-development venture with France’s Newen; copro development deals with the format-focused Spark Media, factual entertainment company Double Yellow TV and 3 Magic Monkies, in addition to long-standing relationships with Canadian broadcaster CBC and Japan’s Fuji network.

“IM Global Television is exactly the kind of partner we were looking for to take the ideas that we are developing in non-scripted, digital and VR/AR technology and CGI driven space internationally,” said Kateryna Vyshnevska, head of development and co-production of FILM.UA Group, in a statement.
