Over her career in the television industry, Angelides has worked in a variety of genres including documentary series, reality, competition and lifestyle programming.
“Stephanie has produced programming for Fox, ID, Discovery, and NatGeo Wild among others. Her rich and varied experience will be a tremendous asset to our company,” Steven Engel, president of Engel Entertainment, in a statement.
Current projects for Engel Entertainment include producing season five of North Woods Law and season three of Lone Star Law, both for Animal Planet.
Engel Entertainment is also currently finishing up its second feature documentary, Sea Change, about a South African couple that rowed the Atlantic waters from Morocco to New York City. The company’s first feature documentary, A Walk to Beautiful, won the International Documentary Association’s award for Best Documentary of the Year in 2008 and an Emmy Award in 2009.
