Scripted is excited to share its final keynote interview announcement, featuring prolific TV producer David Alpert, whose television credits include The Walking Dead, and its companion series, Fear The Walking Dead, Outcast, Five Year, and Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency. In a one-on-one conversation on November 8, Alpert will discuss the international success of his hit series, Skybound’s recent overall deal signed with Amazon Studios, as well as upcoming projects his team is working on, spanning linear, digital and virtual reality platforms.

Alpert is CEO of Skybound Entertainment, founded alongside longtime collaborator Robert Kirkman. It was their vision to build Skybound, a multi-platform content company, to produce creatively driven content in all genres and formats with passionate creators at the helm. As CEO, Alpert oversees operations, creative development and production and strategic business initiatives for the company.

His film credits include producing the upcoming adaptation of the long-running Robert Kirkman comic, Invincible, which is set to be written, directed and produced by Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg for Universal Pictures.

Other producing credits include AIR, starring Norman Reedus and Djimon Hounsou, the Jessie Eisenberg, Kristen Stewart film American Ultra, and the George Lopez film Spare Parts.

Moving across platforms, Alpert executive produced Samsung Milk VR’s Gone, the first ever narrative virtual reality series. He also produces the VR series Delusion: Lies Within, the first project out of Skybound’s partnership with immersive theatrical company Delusion.
