Los-Angeles based digital media company Jukin Media has tapped former AOL Studios head Nate Hayden as the company’s SVP, original content.

In the newly created role, Hayden will lead sales and go-to-market strategies for all of Jukin’s original series. He reports to Jonathan Skogmo, founder and CEO of Jukin Media.

While at AOL, the exec shepherd the development, production and strategy for the company’s video offerings, as well as managing AOL’s NYC and LA studios. Prior to AOL, Hayden was VP of development executive at FremantleMedia North America and a producer and director at MTV, Discovery and NBC.

In September, Jukin hired Chris Miller and Jenna Charles to newly created leadership positions in its creative department. Miller (who came from 51 Minds) was appointed VP of digital productions while Charles (former Fine Brothers Entertainment exec) was hired for the role of executive-in-charge of production. 

To date, Jukin has produced more than 200 episodes of commissioned content for a wide variety of networks and platforms including FOX, Viacom International, Verizon’s go90, Lionsgate, MTV Networks, AOL, Facebook’s Watch, among others.
