Host and celebrity chef Guy Fieri’s search for Food Network’s next culinary-travel series has ended with two series being greenlit.

As part of Fieri’s Guy’s Big Project, two food-road shows were selected to become primetime series.

The first, The Grill Dads, features lifelong friends, fathers and grillers Mark Anderson and Ryan Fey. The pair search for outrageous and over-the-top dishes as they travel across the country. The series premieres Dec. 15th at 9:30 p.m. ET/PT.

Elsewhere, self-proclaimed BBQ nerd and restaurant owner Rashad Jones embarks on a road trip to meet people who share his BBQ passion in Eat, Sleep, BBQ (pictured), beginning Dec. 16th at 9 p.m. ET/PT.

Each episode of Eat, Sleep, BBQ aims to provide a full sensory BBQ experience, focusing on everything from the smell of wood burning, to the taste of brisket.

“We are thrilled to welcome Mark, Ryan and Rashad into the Food Network family. Throughout the journey on Guy’s Big Project, Mark’s and Ryan’s energetic personalities and ability to convey their excitement for grilling on camera made them stand out, while Rashad’s relatability, passion and first-hand knowledge about BBQ made him shine,” said Courtney White, SVP programming, Scripps Networks Interactive.
