Los Angeles and Nashville-based prodco Riverside Entertainment has appointed former A&E exec Emily Flood as its head of development.
Flood’s hiring marks a new focus on developing unscripted series and documentary content for the prodco, which had been primarily active in the branded entertainment space, with projects for ABC, Rolling Stone, Marvel and CMA. Currently, Riverside is working on a feature-length doc, Bluebird, chronicling the history of Nashville’s Bluebird Café.
Prior to Riverside, Flood was a senior executive producer, development, at A&E for such projects as The Murder of Laci Peterson. Before A&E, she held the director of development post at TLC where she developed such series as 90 Day Fiancé and America’s Worst Tattoos. Prior to that position, Flood worked in development at Discovery on such projects as Bering Sea Gold.
Riverside Entertainment is repped by ICM Partners.
