Discovery-owned lifestyle channel TLC has greenlit a Sister Wives spinoff.

Seeking Sister Wife follows three polygamist families in various phases of seeking, dating or transitioning a new “sister wife” into their lives. Throughout the series, viewers will watch the successes, frustrations and heartaches of each family as they navigate incorporating a new wife into their family structure.

Between the families are three husbands, six wives and 24 children.

Seeking Sister Wife premieres on Jan. 14 at 10/9 c, while Sister Wives returns on Jan. 7 at 8/7 c for an eighth season.

Sister Wives is produced by Figure 8 Films in association with Advanced Medical Productions for TLC, while Seeking Sister Wife is produced by Discovery Studios for TLC.
