Discovery-owned TLC has teamed with bridal designer Hayley Paige on a five-part bridal series that will air on Facebook’s Watch platform.
Hayley Ever After features Paige and her team from bridal house JLM Couture. Produced by INE Entertainment, the program follows the designer as she shares an inside look at how she makes her dresses. The premiere episode, Hayley’s 15 Minutes of Fabulous, is currently available on Facebook Watch.
“TLC has long been a leader in the wedding genre on linear television. Producing for Facebook allows us to expand our expertise and experiment with a digital-first content strategy,” said Scott Lewers, SVP, multi-platform programming and digital content, TLC, in a statement.
The franchise will extend beyond the streaming platform with the one-hour special Hayley Ever After: The Dress, which will air on TLC on Jan. 13 at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
Also produced by INE Entertainment, the special follows Paige as she takes on The Bachelorette’s Kaitlyn Bristowe’s wedding dress. Paige’s interns go head-to-head against one another to impress the celebrity with their innovative styles.
“Earlier this year, we announced we would be creating content for the Watch platform,” said Fred Graver, SVP original content and social for Discovery, in a statement. “I am very proud of the series we’ve published so far including, Cake Boss: Outrageous Cakes and Outdaughtered: Quintessentials for TLC and Celebrity Animal Encounters for Animal Planet and we are excited to see how fans engage with our latest launch.”
