Tang Media Partners-owned prodco Global Road Entertainment has elevated Casey Kelly to director of development.

In her expanded role, Kelly (pictured) is responsible for managing the overall development pipeline while also crafting internal formats for broadcast, cable, digital and international buyers. In addition, she will develop new concepts with copro partners and work with indie producers and third-party prodcos.

She will continue reporting into Phil Gurin, president of unscripted and alternative.

Kelly joined Global Road in March 2017 as a manager of development. Prior to IM Global, she worked under Gurin as manager of development at The Gurin Company. There, Kelly was involved in developing series and pilots for ITV, NBC, The CW, GSN, Oxygen, MSNBC and syndication as well as pitching to all major broadcast and cable networks.

Global Road (formerly IM Global) has also appointed Kelly Campbell as VP of business affairs for unscripted and alternative.

Reporting to Gurin, she will serve as lead deal-maker for the development and production of unscripted programming, live-event specials and documentaries.

Campbell joins from Kleinberg Lange Cuddy & Carlo, where she represented entertainment clients in the television business. Prior to this, she held business and legal affairs posts for CMT and MTV, and worked in production and development for Valhalla Entertainment, Lobell-Bergman Productions, The Fred Silverman Company and the Motion Picture Corporation of America.

Global Road most recently secured a co-development venture with France’s Newen; and copro development deals with Ukrainian media company FILM.UA Group, with the format-focused Spark Media, factual entertainment company Double Yellow TV, and 3 Magic Monkies, in addition to long-standing relationships with Canadian broadcaster CBC and Japan’s Fuji network.
