Apple has ordered a docuseries that will go inside the world’s most extraordinary homes and unveil the visionaries behind their designs.

Home (10 x 60), will be produced by Altimeter Films, Time Inc. Productions and Media Weaver Entertainment. It will be directed and executive produced by Altimeter’s Matt Tyraneur (Valentino: The Last Emperor). Additional executive producers include Corey Reeser of Altimeter Films; Matthew Weaver; Ian Orefice and Bruce Gersh from Time Inc. Productions; and Joe Poulin, CEO of Luxury Retreats.

Home is the first docuseries ordered by Apple’s Jamie Erlicht and Zack Van Amburg, formerly of Sony Pictures Television. The pair joined the global tech giant in June 2017 in newly created positions which have them managing all aspects of video programming.

Los Angeles-based Altimeter Films was co-founded by Tyraneur (pictured) and Reeser. The company’s upcoming projects include the documentaries Studio 54, which will bow at the 2018 Sundance Film Festival, and Don’t Mess with Roy Cohn, about the man behind Joseph McCarthy and Donald Trump.

Recent Altimeter productions include Scotty and the Secret History of Hollywood, a look at Hollywood’s hidden sexual past; Citizen Jane: Battle for the City, about author and urban activist Jane Jacobs; and Valentino: The Last Emperor, which premiered at the Venice Film Festival and was short-listed for an Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature.
