UK commercial broadcaster Channel 5 has commissioned Twofour to produce another series featuring Alex Polizzi, host of the C5 series The Hotel Inspector.

Restaurant Rescue (w/t)  will follow Polizzi and her brother-in-law restaurateur Oliver Peyton, as they meet people whose dream to run their own restaurant has turned into a nightmare. Throughout the 4 x 60-minute series, the pair set out to see if they can transform the struggling restaurants, examining staffing, menus, service and décor.

With a different restaurant featured in each of the four episodes, Polizzi will draw on her career in hospitality to offer critiques while Peyton will manage changes made in the kitchen.

Restaurant Rescue was ordered by by Greg Barnett, commissioning editor, factual entertainment at Channel 5 and will be executive produced by Dan Adamson. It will air in early 2018.
