UK-based Thunderclap Media has expanded its team with the appointment of its first executive producer.
In her role, Susy Price will be responsible for delivering the company’s range of content and formats.
Thunderclap was launched under the Tinopolis banner in October 2017, and is headed by MD Claire Zolkwer, a former ITV commissioning editor for comedy and entertainment. The company focuses on producing both unscripted and scripted entertainment and comedy content.
Price has over 15 years of experience in the television industry. She has worked across such formats as Big Brother, Celebrity Big Brother, Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway, Don’t Tell The Bride, Who Wants To Be A Millionaire, Gladiators, The Salon, So Graham Norton and Britain’s Next Top Model.
Since leaving Endemol Shine as creative director of Big Brother in 2016, Price has served as executive producer at Tiger Aspect, overseeing the revival of C4 format Streetmate. She has also developed a number of factual entertainment and reality formats at Second Star and Studio Ramsay.
“Susy has an outstanding track record and has worked on some ground-breaking shows, so I am thrilled she is joining Thunderclap to apply her valuable expertise,” said Zolkwer, in a statement. “We already have a number of unique projects in development and Susy will be instrumental in making them happen.”
