Ross Babbit and Danny Tepper, both former executives with Scripps Networks Interactive, have been tapped to lead the original content division for Kentucky-headquartered Wrigley Media Group.

Babbit (pictured) was part of the Scripps team for over a decade, finishing his tenure there as SVP of programming and development at Travel Channel. Programs under his watch included Booze Traveler and Expedition Unknown, among others. Most recently, he worked with ABC subsidiary Picture Road Productions.

Tepper, meanwhile, spent six years at Scripps, managing content for DIY, HGTV and GAC. Over the last 20 years he has also developed and exec produced shows for VH1, Bravo, Lifetime, FX, AMC, Disney Channel, NBC Sports Network and others through his New York City-based production company TepTV.

Babbit will serve as EVP, programming & partnerships, and Tepper as EVP, original content. Both will report to Jayne Hancock, CEO of Wrigley Media Group.

“We are excited to bring Ross and Danny into the Wrigley Media Group family,” said Misdee Wrigley-Miller, owner of Wrigley Media Group, in a statement. “We are giving them all the resources needed to build a division that will create impactful content and compete on a global scale.”
