Friends and Cougar Town star Courteney Cox has signed on as executive producer for a doc series about pregnancy.

Produced by Ari Mark and Phil Lott’s AMPLE Entertainment, the tentatively titled series 9 Months will follow women in various stages of pregnancy.

Types of stories will include teenagers who are pregnant, same-sex couples, pregnant women living in remote areas, multicultural families and multi-generational families, among others.

The casting process for the series has begun, according to an announcement made by Cox on Twitter.

“We need diverse, emotional, unexpected characters to film themselves going through the most… emotional and real story that us as humans have to tell,” she said.
