In this week’s roundup, new seasons are on the way for series on Snapchat, HGTV, TLC and Discovery.

Thumb Candy Media’s Snapchat series, Fright Club and Nail the Look have been renewed for second seasons.  Fright Club, a scare prank show, lures millennials into an everyday scenario and records them on hidden cameras while faced with classic horror tropes. Meanwhile, in Nail the Look, young women transform their image and confront a fashion fear with the help of a celebrity stylist. The second seasons of both shows are set to air in Spring 2018 on Snapchat’s Discover page.

Elsewhere, Scrippsowned HGTV has renewed both Restored By The Fords and Home Town (pictured). High Noon Entertainment’s Restored By The Fords features sibling home renovators Leanne and Steve Ford, who liven up older Pittsburgh-area homes with unique custom designs. The series has been picked up for 14 episodes. RTR Media’s Home Town, which features Ben and Erin Napier renovating homes in Laurel, Mississippi, has been picked up for 13 episodes.

Figure 8 Film’s Counting On — the latest installment from the Duggar franchise — returns for a new season on TLC on February 26 at 9 p.m. ET/PT. The series focuses on the Duggar family’s older children as they celebrate some of life’s milestone moments.

The season features Joy and her husband Austin as they fly off for their romantic honeymoon in Switzerland, while back in Arkansas, Joe and Kendra prep for their big day. Meanwhile, in Laredo, Jinger and Jeremy move out of their apartment and into their first house, and Jana and Jessa travel down to Texas to help them organize and decorate their new space.

Also returning to TLC is the Megalomedia-produced My 600-Lb Life: Skin Tight, which airs March 7 at 10 p.m. ET/PT.

In the latest 13 x 60-minute season, plastic surgeon Dr. Nowzaradan returns along with other surgeons to help people looking to undergo a transformation through skin removal surgery. Each episode will follow two-to-three individuals who have lost a significant amount of weight, but have been left with loose skin all over their bodies. Viewers will have the chance to follow the subjects transformative journey.

Finally,  Gold Rush: Parker’s Trail from Raw Television returns for a second season on March 30 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Discovery.

In the second season, gold minder Parker Schnabel and his friends head into the jungle to chase a 21st-century gold rush at the site of El Dorado.
