The latest episode of Jimmy Fox’s Unscripted and Unprepared podcast is now available via iTunes, Google Play and Stitcher, featuring a wide-ranging and candid interview with Wheelhouse Entertainment founder and Pawn Stars executive producer Brent Montgomery.

Montgomery began his career in unscripted television with stints on such series as The Bachelor, Wife Swap and Blind Date. His company, Leftfield Pictures, sold its first series (The Principal’s Office) in 2008 and grew rapidly, adding myriad series and hundreds of programming hours to its roster, including the industry-defining franchise Pawn Stars, which launched on History in 2009.

Leveraging the massive success of that series, in 2013 Montgomery created Leftfield Entertainment (LFE), acquiring production company Sirens Media and launching production companies Loud TV, Outpost Entertainment and Riot Creative. In 2014, ITV acquired a majority stake in Leftfield Entertainment; the deal was completed in 2015, at which time Montgomery became CEO of ITV America. Earlier this year, Montgomery announced his departure from that post, and his new endeavor, which includes a production label in Spoke Studios and other ventures.

Unscripted and Unprepared, produced by Jimmy Fox in partnership with realscreen, began in late June 2016, and has so far featured interviews with Jon Murray, Thom Beers, Ugly Brother Studios’ Mike Duffy, History’s Eli Lehrer, Mark Itkin, Jonathan Koch, Ben Silverman, Jane Latman, Heather Olander, David Eilenberg, and Vinnie Malhotra, among many others.

Fox’s production credits include the Emmy-winning CNN series United Shades of America, CNBC’s Make Me a Millionaire Inventor and Investigation Discovery’s Is O.J. Innocent: The Missing Evidence.

With Main Event Media, credits include Spike’s true-crime series It Was Him: The Many Murders of Ed Edwards, as well as the unscripted comedy, Hollywood Darlings for POP.
