NBC Universal-owned cable net Bravo Media is stepping up its sales game with leading New York City realtor Ryan Serhant in its latest docuseries.
Produced by World of Wonder, Sell It Like Serhant will follow Serhant as he attempts to help struggling salespeople across multiple industries at the brink of losing their jobs. Each episode will showcase Serhant providing under-performing employees with a sales bootcamp to build them up with expert knowledge and newfound confidence. Sell It Like Serhant premieres April 11 at 10 p.m. ET/PT on Bravo.
Elsewhere, premium cable network HBO and the WWE will present the television broadcast premiere of Emmy-winning director Jason Hehir’s feature documentary Andre the Giant (pictured).
Produced by JMH Films, in association with Ringer Films, the film examines the life and career of one of the most beloved legends in WWE history, beginning with his upbringing in France, to his success in the ring and the entertainment industry. The film also features interviews with wrestling icons and actors, including Vince McMahon, Hulk Hogan, Ric Flair, Billy Crystal and Rob Reiner, among others. Executive produced by Bill Simmons, Andre the Giant debuts across HBO on April 10 at 10 p.m. ET/PT.
Meanwhile, Thom Zimny’s comprehensive documentary Elvis Presley: The Searcher will receive its television debut when it airs across HBO on April 14.
The three-hour, two-film presentation provides a thorough look at the seminal musician from his childhood through to the final 1976 Jungle Room recording sessions. The films, which offer never-before-seen photos and archive footage, include atmospheric shots taken inside Presley’s iconic Graceland home and feature more than 20 interviews with session players, producers, engineers, directors and other artists who knew him or who were influenced by him.
An HBO Documentary Films Presentation in association with Sony Pictures Television, Elvis Presley: The Searcher broadcasts April 14 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on HBO.
Finally, Viacom-owned Paramount Network is gearing up for the premiere of a six-part original true crime docuseries set to examine infamous serial killer Ed Edwards.
It Was Him: The Many Murders of Ed Edwards follows former Sergeant Detective and FBI Cold Case Task Force officer John Cameron and Wayne Wolfe, the grandson of notorious convicted serial killer Edward Wayne Edwards, an escaped convict who murdered at least five people between 1977 and 1996, on their quest to prove that Edwards is the man responsible for some of most high-profile murders of the 20th century. The Main Event Media-created series airs April 16 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Paramount Network.
