The Fashion Hero sells to Australia’s Nine Entertainment
The Brooke Hogan-hosted series The Fashion Hero (pictured) is heading down under, with Nine Entertainment acquiring the free-to-air and non-exclusive VOD rights to the series in Australia.
Produced by Beauty World Search, the 8 x 60-minute format features global participants aiming to nab a modelling role in international advertising campaigns, and has a panel of renowned designers. This is the latest sale for The Fashion Hero, after deals with Amazon Prime Video in 19 territories, and RTL2 in Hungary. Format deals have also been made with Paprika Studios and Mexico’s Litopros Producionnes.

Endemol Shine Group takes Chinese format Puzzle Masters to global market

Global producer and distributor Endemol Shine Group is partnering with Vision Media to internationally distribute Puzzle Masters, a competition show featuring undiscovered puzzle wizards.
The original format, co-developed with Endemol Shine China, aired in January on Jiangsu Satellite TV. Puzzle Masters challenges participants to solve monumental puzzles.

This is the second partnership between Endemol Shine China and Vision Media, who together created the Chinese version of The Brain, a format that sees contestants compete against each other in mental and physical challenges. Endemol Shine International has sold finished versions of The Brain China to broadcasters, VOD and OTT platforms, apps and airlines in countries including Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, Cambodia and Australia.

Autentic Distribution sells package to Curiosity Stream
Germany-based Autentic Distribution has inked several package deals, including 20 hours to VOD platform Curiosity Stream. Titles include Asia – Secret Lives, Hidden Places, and the two-part series Viking Women.
Twenty five hours of programming, including The Seed of Greed and Masai Mara – The Big Hunt, have sold to Austria’s ORF and ORF III.
Elsewhere, A&E Italy & Germany acquired five hours of football docs, including Adidas vs. Puma; and Croatia’s HRT bought 12 hours, including the three-part series Grand Tour de Suisse. Additionally, Autentic has scored a 25-hour deal with True Visions from Thailand; and a 25-hour VOD deal sold to China.
Electus International to shop Matchmakers format

Electus International has acquired the format license for global and domestic distribution of Matchmakers, a Belgian reality dating format.

Produced by Roses are Blue, the 6 x 1 episode series puts an unsuspecting single on three hidden camera dates, with the single’s friends orchestrating the whole thing. The single will come into the studio to review the dates, and chooses which person will join them on a romantic trip.

The deal also includes U.S. remake rights

Bert Hamelinck, Anda Ackx and Mathias Coppens serve as executive producers.
