An in-depth look at death row prisoners across the U.S. will have its global premiere on A+E Networks UK’s Crime + Investigation (CI) channel in the spring, before its debut on Netflx.

As part of a partnership with Netflix, I Am a Killer is a 10 x 60-minute Sky Vision Productions series that profiles 10 convicted murderers as they describe what happened before their crime and the murder itself. The series will feature their motivations, expectations and how they see the crime now after their time on death row.

The series will also air on CI Poland and Italy later this year.

“I’m immensely proud of this series, created by our team over the past 18 months, involving painstaking research and detailed negotiations to secure the most incredible access,” said Danny Tipping, executive producer for Sky Vision Productions. “The series is beautifully made and challenges the viewer at every turn.”

CI also recently ordered a documentary series from Endemol Shine North, Murdertown. Fronted by Happy Valley actress Katherine Kelly, the 10 x 60-minute true crime series focuses on the location of the murder, in the context of it’s locations cultural and criminal landscape. It will premiere on CI in the UK later this year.
