British commercial broadcaster ITV is bringing a group of famous women to the Greek islands in a Twofour series titled My Shirley Valentine Summer (w/t).

The 4 x 60-minute series takes its name from the 1980 play and film Shirley Valentine, which sees a middle-aged housewife rediscover her joie de vivre in Greece.

The cast of eight famous women, currently unnamed, will live together, and hope to rediscover themselves and possibly discover new relationships, hobbies or careers.

The series will follow along as they acclimate to the local life and dating scene.

Twofour’s David Clews serves as executive producer for the series that doesn’t yet have a confirmed air date.
