Jane Latman, has expanded her Discovery, Inc. portfolio to include general manager of Travel Channel.

She will lead the creative and programming strategy for the Travel Channel, and will continue to serve as EVP of development and research for Investigation Discovery and American Heroes Channel, and general manager of Destination America.

In her 15 years at Discovery, Inc. Latman has held various roles in programming and development at networks including the Military Channel and Discovery Life Channel, and was instrumental in the transition from Discovery Times to Investigation Discovery. Latman has additionally helped develop some of that network’s hits, including Homicide Hunter: Lt. Joe Kenda, On the Case with Paula Zahn, and Into the Abyss and On Death Row with Werner Herzog.

At Destination America, she oversees the development, production, scheduling, research, marketing, communications, and online efforts, and has launched Paranormal Lockdown, Ghost Brothers, and Ghosts of Shepherdstown in her time at the network.

Latman will continue to report to group president, Henry S. Schleiff.
