Social media giant Facebook has commissioned digital studio Thumb Candy Media to produce the interactive docuseries Help Us Get Married! for its Watch platform.

Premiering May 3 and hosted by Tamera Mowry-Housley, the series features three newly engaged couples who are planning their weddings with the help of the Facebook community. Each Thursday episode will feature wedding day decisions, and viewers will be able to help them decide via Facebook polling. The following night’s episode will show the live results of the vote.

The 12-week-long series will allow the Facebook community to decide on everything from the venue to the wedding dress. The finale will be the wedding that viewers helped to plan.

Thumb Candy Media is the digital studio division of CORE Media’s B-17 Entertainment. Rhett Bachner and Brien Meagher will serve as executive producers alongside Richard Courtney.

“Tamera is a supremely talented host who is passionate about the wedding space and has the experience to navigate the type of live, interactive programming that only Facebook Watch can deliver,” said Bachner and Meagher, in a joint statement. “Help Us Get Married! gives viewers a set of tools that will allow them to share opinions, shape our storylines and talk with Tamera in real time. It’s beyond exciting to be a part of this.”
