Toronto-based Media Headquarters has landed its expedition competition series on the Outdoor Sportsman Group Networks.

The Brigade, set to bow in spring 2019, will take 10 women and men from across the U.S. and Canada, as they retrace a 2,600-mile fur trade route across two states, four Canadian provinces, two mountain ranges and five river systems. At the end of the 10-week journey, the competitors will end up at the Hudson Bay shores in Manitoba.

The group must work together to navigate the various terrains, and fish and hunt for food. There are no eliminations, and those who complete the expedition have the chance to share prize money of up to $1 million.

The Outdoor Sportsman Group Networks include the World Fishing Network, Outdoor Channel and Sportsman Channel, which airs across the U.S. and Canada. The BrigadeĀ is currently casting.

“This is a challenge so intense it can’t be tackled alone. It will take skill, perseverance and teamwork to succeed,” said executive producer Robert Cohen (Smartest Person, Tessa & Scott), in a statement.
