Rakieten will executive produce the show alongside Pinkett Smith and Miguel Melendez of Westbrook Entertainment.

Additional development projects in the works include a partnership with Eva Longoria’s UnbeliEVAble Entertainment on a dating format and Iced (working title), featuring actress Charlotte McKinney and her team as they help those who’ve been “ghosted.”

Rakieten holds a diverse background, having produced The Oprah Winfrey Show for over two decades, and co-created and executive produced Dr. Phil, The Dr. Oz Show., The Marriage Ref for NBC in partnership with Jerry Seinfeld, the Emmy Award-winning Trisha’s Southern Kitchen for Food Network, Undateable for NBC based on a book co-written by Rakieten, and Welcome Back Potter for HGTV, among many others.

Soros and Horsman commented in a statement: “Ellen is an incredible force to be reckoned with in the industry. She has been at the forefront of some of the most successful shows in history. She’s amazing at identifying what audiences will embrace in the ever-changing landscape of film and television and her contacts within the industry are second to none. We feel very fortunate to have such an accomplished business person and creator as part of the LAMF family.”
