On tap for this week’s edition of ‘Renewed and Returning’ are new seasons of series on Discovery Channel, Science Channel, Paramount Network, Cooking Channel and Travel Channel.

Discovery, Inc.’s flagship robot-fighting series BattleBots will return for a new season tonight

From WhaleRock Industries, BattleBots (pictured) features the biggest and fastest robots from around the world as they compete for supremacy in the exploding world of Robot Combat Sports. Each match consists of two robots going head-to-head in a single, three-minute round with the goal to destroy or disable their opponent. If there is no knockout during the battle, a panel of judges will declare a victor. The series premieres tonight (May 11) at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Discovery Channel and May 16 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Science Channel.

America’s best street racers, meanwhile, are revving up for a new season of Discovery’s Street Outlaws from Pilgrim Media Group.

After last season’s confusion and conflict, the Oklahoma-based 405 come together to update the rules guiding the most heated street races in the nation. With the racing scene in America growing, the 405 has to step up its game or will be left in the dust. Street Outlaws returns May 28 at 8 p.m. ET/PT with new episodes continuing on Discovery’s ‘Motor Mondays’ at 9 p.m. ET/PT.

Elsewhere, Beach Bites with Katie Lee has been renewed by Cooking Channel for a new season. Returning June 7 at 10 p.m. ET/PT, the series will follow Katie Lee on a culinary journey to visit new surfside destinations and delicious meals. Lee heads to Bahamas, California, the Gulf Coast of Mississippi and South Carolina where she gets a first-hand look at local chefs as they prep regional flavors, alongside beautiful waterside backgrounds.

Also heading to back the coasts are underwater explorers Philippe Cousteau, grandson of legendary explorer Jacques Cousteau, and his journalist wife Ashlan in the new season of Travel Channel’s Caribbean Pirate Treasure.

The latest season will follow the Cousteaus as they travel to tropical beach destinations, including Bermuda, Puerto Rico and Florida, to explore the tales of legendary shipwrecks, ruthless pirates and sunken treasure beneath the water’s surface. Caribbean Pirate Treasure bows June 13 at 10 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. ET/PT on Travel Channel.

Finally, Paramount Network has greenlit an 11th season of the tattoo-competition series Ink Master.

Produced by Truly Original, Ink Master (16 x 60 minutes) pits tattoo artists through a series of tattoo challenges that test the artists’ technical skills and creativity as they execute their ideas on people. Each episode focuses on a different and distinct style of tattooing, including realism, black and grey, and American traditional. After every challenge, the contestants face a panel of judges made up of series host Dave Navarro and tattoo artists Chris Nunez and Oliver Peck. Ink Master is slated to return later this year.
