Los Angeles-based Shed Media is teaming with beauty brand Huda Beauty and its CEO, Huda Kattan, for a 10-episode series on Facebook Watch set to debut on June 12.

Huda Boss will go behind the scenes of the Dubai-headquartered cosmetics company to spotlight Kattan, an Instagram favorite with 25 million followers worldwide, and her family, comprised of sisters Mona and Alya and husband Chris, as they work together on the business.

Kattan will also interact with fans during live Facebook Watch Q&As over the course of the series.

“When we started Huda Beauty as a blog in 2010, Facebook was the first platform that we used to promote the brand,” Kattan said in a statement. “It was, and continues to be, a very important platform for the brand, and together with Instagram, has really helped grow our business.

“When Facebook pitched the idea of our family doing an original show, we just knew it was the best fit for our demographic and for our brand,” she added. “We already had a very strong relationship with Facebook so it just felt right.”

Shed Media will produce the series for Facebook Watch. Executive producers are Shed’s Pam Healey, Lisa Shannon and John Paparazzo; Esther Frank, Huda Kattan and Mona Kattan.
