Blue Ant International, the distribution arm of Blue Ant Media, has grown its UK division by appointing Fleur Wheatley as sales manager, international.

Wheatley will manage Blue Ant International’s sales across the Middle East, Africa, Benelux, Greece and Israel. She reports to Alex Maldini, VP, international sales and acquisitions.

Wheatley joins Blue Ant from indie content distributor Digital Rights Group (DRG), where she held the position of sales executive, managing the sales of formats and finished programs into New Zealand, South East Asia, Latin America, Ireland and OTT platforms.

“As an international hub for worldwide licencing deals, the expansion of Blue Ant International’s team in the UK market is critical to our continued leadership in premium content,” said Solange Attwood, EVP, Blue Ant International, in a statement. “Fleur has a proven track record of success with international format sales and distribution and brings to the table deep relationships and sales expertise in formats.”
