UK producer Spun Gold Television and Motion Content Group have been commissioned by Channel 5 to produce a series that examines sleep disorders, hosted by Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford (pictured).

Eamonn and Ruth: How to Get a Good Sleep (2 x 60 minutes) follows the pair as they journey to find a cure to their sleeping disorders, while providing tips and advice for Brits who also suffer from restless nights.

The duo’s mission leads them to work with sleep gurus and try out state-of-the-art sleeping aids as they leave no stone unturned in the desire for a good night’s sleep.

Eamonn and Ruth: How to Get a Good Sleep is executive produced by Matt Young, Fintan Maguire, Maureen Goldthorpe and Melanie Darlaston, and series produced and directed by Carey Dunn and Colin Lennox.

Channel 5 has also recommissioned Spun Gold’s How the Other Half Lives for a fifth season of five 60-minute episodes, together with a two-part Christmas in Las Vegas special. The series sees Holmes and Langsford step inside the lives of the super-rich, detailing their lavish and luxurious lifestyles.

How The Other Half Lives is executive produced by Matt Young, Fintan Maguire and Maureen Goldthorpe, and series produced by Mike McDowall, John Bonny and Chris Parkin.
