John de Mol’s Talpa Media has inked an exclusive partnership deal with Nicole Plas’ newly formed Belgian-based prodco Dok1 Media.

Under the terms of this agreement, Dok1 Media receives the exclusive rights to Talpa’s format catalog starting July 2018.

Plas (pictured) stepped down as managing director of Endemol Shine Belgium in June after 23 years to focus on her own projects.

Her body of work includes producing local versions of the reality and entertainment shows Big Brother, Deal or No Deal, Star Academy and The Wall. In recent years, Plas produced multiple shows for Talpa, including all seasons of The Voice and The Voice Kids in Belgium.

The first production Plas will handle under the Dok1 Media label will be season eight of The Voice Belgium for RTBF, which is slated to premiere in spring 2019.
