On tap for this week’s edition of “Renewed and Returning” are series from HGTV, Science Channel, Lifetime and Velocity.

Science Channel’s Strange Evidence (Wag TV) returns for a second season to investigate the most bizarre phenomena and mysteries ever caught on camera, starting July 10 at 9 p.m. ET/PT.

Worldwide, millions of surveillance cameras capture footage that defies reason, including dramatic weather occurrences to unidentified creatures. Strange Evidence follows a team of experts who use forensic analysis to determine the truth behind these seemingly unexplainable events.

Elsewhere, Lifetime kicks off its Real Love Tuesday night programming block with the seventh season premiere of the docuseries Married at First Sight.

Beginning July 10 at 9 p.m. ET/PT, the network will celebrate matrimony in a larger-than-life way by covering the costs of courthouse weddings for 70 couples in seven cities. Real life couples are invited to join in the nationwide “I Do’s” in Dallas, New York City, Los Angeles, Chicago, Boston, Miami and Atlanta. Married at First Sight is produced by Kinetic Content, a Red Arrow Studios company.

An all-new season of Junkyard Empire, meanwhile, returns to Velocity on July 11 at 10 p.m. ET/PT. Produced by Half Yard Productions, Junkyard Empire is back with host Andy Cohen, the king of a crashed cash kingdom. Cohen finds value in automotive rubble as he turns rough rides into lucrative cash.

Wrapping up, real estate and home renovation experts Eric and Lindsey Bennett (pictured) will fix and flip more hot properties in Palm Springs, California, in a new season of HGTV’s Desert Flippers.

The 14-episode season, broadcasting July 24 at 9 p.m. ET/PT from Glass Entertainment Group, follows the pair as they renovate run-down homes in a sizzling real estate market where investment properties are tough to find. The Wisconsin natives will overcome extreme heat and desert challenges to create dream homes.
