Discovery, Inc.’s mystery and suspense network Investigation Discovery has slated the true crime series People Magazine Investigates: Crimes of Fashion from Four M Studios for a mid-July premiere.

Each episode of the 3 x 60-minute series will explore high-end fashion icons and their couture crimes that have gone on to capture headlines across the globe.

The series will feature a variety of journalists from People magazine as they provide exclusive access to the gruesome details beyond the catwalk, and highlighting the fatal tales of depravity, obsession and family betrayal in the fashion world.

Episodes will focus on the 1995 assassination of Maurizio Gucci, grandson of Guccio Gucci and former head of the iconic fashion house; the ’95 killing of 27-year-old blossoming actor and model Linda Sobek; and the ’97 murder of iconic fashion designer Gianni Versace.

People Magazine Investigates: Crimes of Fashion premieres July 16 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Investigation Discovery and is produced by Four M Studios, the in-house production company of People‘s parent company Meredith.
