The Grierson Trust has unveiled the shortlist for this year’s Grierson Awards, with projects featuring presenters Sir David Attenborough and Chris Packham, and the BBC, receiving multiple nominations.

The Griersons employ a two-stage judging process. Juries comprised of doc-makers, broadcasters, critics and subject experts will now review the shortlisted nominations to arrive at the final four nominations, including the winner, in each category. The nominations will be announced on Monday, September 17, with the awards ceremony taking place on November 5 in London.
