MTV has announced the return of iconic docuseries The Hills, revealed by the original cast during the annual Video Music Awards ceremony Monday night (August 20).

The Hills: New Beginnings reunites original cast members, alongside their children, friends and some new faces, following their personal and professional lives in Los Angeles. Original cast members Audrina Patridge, Heidi Montag, Spencer and Stephanie Pratt, Justin Bobby, Frankie Delgado and Jason Wahler.

The original series, created by Adam DiVello, was a spin-off of MTV’s Laguna Beach and ran for six seasons from 2006 to 2010. It was executive produced by Liz Gateley and Sean Travis.

The Hills: New Beginnings is produced by MTV and MGM affiliate Evolution Media.

The new series will bow in 2019.
