London-based content distributor Digital Rights Group (DRG) has appointed Lucy Roberts to the role of senior sales manager for CEE and French-speaking territories.

Based in London, Roberts (pictured) will now report to Elin Thomas, DRG’s EVP of sales. She will work alongside Adam Barth, recently promoted to SVP of EMEA.

Roberts most recently served as format sales manager for EMEA North at All3Media, and, prior to that, was sales manager at Keshet International and held various roles at BBC Worldwide. Roberts began her career at ITV Studios Global Entertainment.

“Lucy brings with her a wide range of experience covering both format licensing and completed programming sales, and has already worked extensively in EMEA and CEE,” Thomas said, in a statement. “As we continue to evolve our business we need passionate lovers of content, who understand how our world is changing, and who can work closely with a wide range of different content buyers: it is no longer sufficient to just be a traditional salesperson. Lucy is a brilliant fit with these requirements and we are delighted to welcome her to the DRG team.”
