London-headquartered BBC Studios has appointed Seb Curtis as head of development and Kat Lennox as senior executive producer to its factual entertainment and events team.

Curtis (pictured, left) joins BBC Studios from London-based television prodco Voltage TV where he was a development executive producer working across the company’s factual entertainment and documentary slate, developing a range of content including The Big Family Cooking Showdown for BBC2 as well as access-based documentaries.

Prior to working at Voltage TV, Curtis was a development executive producer at FremantleMedia UK factual entertainment label Boundless, working on such programs as An Hour to Save Your Life and Normal for Norfolk for BBC2, Slumming It for Channel 4 and Class of ’92 for theatrical release.

Before joining BBC Studios, Lennox (pictured, right) was previously an executive producer at Boundless, working on a range of factual entertainment shows. Lennox’s career credits include I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here for ITV1, Love Island and Take Me Out: The Gossip for ITV2, Shipwrecked for Channel 4 and Grossbusters for MTV.
