Philadelphia-based unscripted prodco Glass Entertainment Group has inked an overall development deal with Crybaby Media, a reality television development and casting firm.

Under the terms of the deal, Crybaby’s founder Danny Passman (pictured) will set up a joint development office for Crybaby Media and Glass Entertainment Group in Los Angeles by the end of 2018.

Passman will work with Glass Entertainment’s Nancy Glass, CEO and executive producer, and J.C. Mills, president and general manager, to develop and produce unscripted programming with production for all projects being run out of Glass Entertainment’s Philadelphia studio.

Glassman and Mills said in a joint statement that opening an LA branch was not about “if but about who” and called Passman “the right person to partner with on this next phase of growth” for their company.

Both parties are repped by ICM Partners.

Crybaby Media has previously secured overall deals with ITV America-owned Leftfield Entertainment and New York-based prodco Truly Original.
