In this week’s round-up, new seasons are on the way for series on History, TV One, Food Network, TLC and Comedy Central UK.

A new season of A+E Networks-owned History channel’s Forged in Fire: Knife or Death premieres Oct. 3 at 10 p.m. ET/PT.

America’s most experienced bladesmiths, martial artists and knife experts compete in a blade-shattering gauntlet for a chance of taking home the grand prize of US$20,000. Forged in Fire is produced by ITV America’s Outpost Entertainment.

UrbanOne-owned lifestyle and entertainment network TV One has renewed the Hollywood profile series Unsung Hollywood for an all new season.

Produced by A. Smith & Co. Productions, the series kicks off on on Oct. 7 at 9 p.m. ET/PT with the story behind Malcolm D. Lee’s 1999 African American romantic comedy flick The Best Man. The remainder of the season features stories from influential entertainers, musicians and more.

Also returning to TV One is inspiring docuseries Uncensored on Oct. 7 at 1o p.m. ET/PT, following the season debut of Unsung Hollywood.

From Swirl Films, Uncensored features famous faces as they reveal the key to their successes, the challenges they’ve faced and the impact social media has had on their careers. A few of the faces to grace the screen this season are entertainment mogul Nick Cannon, actress Tichina Arnold and comedian and TV personality D.L. Hughley.

Elsewhere, Ina Garten (pictured) returns for a third season of Food Network’s culinary series Barefoot Contessa: Cook Like a Pro.

Hosted by Garten, also known as the Barefoot Contessa, from her East Hampton home in New York, the cookery program features cameo appearances from famed chefs and special guests, including Jennifer Garner and Nigella Lawson for a Thanksgiving celebration. The series is produced by UK-based prodco Pacific and returns to Food Network on Oct. 21 at 12:30 p.m. ET/PT.

Discovery’s lifestyle network TLC, meanwhile, has brought the original 90 Day Fiance back for a sixth season beginning Oct. 21.

Six couples separated by land and sea prepare for the time-consuming task of bringing their fiancés stateside and tying the knot within 90 days, or else risk their significant one being sent home. 90 Day Fiance airs on TLC on Oct. 21. at 8 p.m. ET/PT, and is produced by Sharp Entertainment.

Finally, Comedy Central UK has re-commissioned a third season of the comedic competition program Roast Battle UK, which will air on the channel in early 2019.

The 5 x 30-minute series from Fulwell 73 and Ideasatron features top comedians and new faces who go head-to-head in a competition where only one of the two comedians will be crowned winner by the judging panel.
