UK-based superindie Argonon Group has acquired full ownership of London and Bristol-based television producer BriteSpark Films.

The business, a joint venture between Argonon Group and Nick Godwin, creative director and co-founder of BriteSpark, was launched in 2013. Since then, the company has received a range of commissions from major networks including Channel 4, Channel 5 and Investigation Discovery.

BriteSpark’s titles include Manchester’s Serial Killer for Channel 4 and Diamond Geezers and Gold Dealers for ITV.

Godwin will continue in his role as creative director and will be looking to build the executive team in the coming year.

Argonon’s group of companies include Leopard Pictures, Remedy Productions, Windfall Films and Like A Shot among others.
