American commercial broadcaster CBS is teaming with various sports celebrities who will provide home makeovers to people who have played special roles in their lives in the forthcoming home series Superstar Renovation.
Produced by bicoastal production company Juma Entertainment, the series of one-hour specials will kick off with two-time Super Bowl champion and Philadelphia Eagles All-Pro star safety Malcolm Jenkins (pictured left), who returns to his childhood home in Piscataway, New Jersey, to thank his parents Gwendolyn and Lee for their enduring support of family and the surrounding neighborhood.
With the help of landscape expert Jason Cameron, Jenkins is surprising them with a spacious backyard renovation complete with an entertaining space and playground. As a special gift to his father Lee, Jenkins and Cameron also transform the garage into a man cave.
In the exclusive clip below, cameras follow as Jenkins pots a surprise garden for his mother.
Episode two of Superstar Renovation will feature NBA All-Star and San Antonio Spurs’ power forward LaMarcus Aldridge, who returns to Dallas to surprise his high school coach, mentor and father figure with a home renovation. Its airdate has yet to be announced.
Superstar Renovation premieres on CBS Television Network on Oct. 13 at 2 p.m. ET/PT.
