TLC orders Dr. Pimple Popper companion series

Discovery-owned lifestyle network TLC has commissioned Evolution Media to produce a companion project to dermatology series Dr. Pimple Popper.

Dr. Foot Fixer will chart the practice of Dr. Yolanda Ragland, a renowned podiatrist and foot surgeon, as she cares for patients with crippling, humiliating and “sometimes ooey-gooey conditions” as they desperately attempt to lead a normal life.

Dr. Foot Fixer is scheduled to premiere in early 2019.

“TLC shares powerful medical transformation stories like no one else, and after seeing the overwhelmingly positive response to Dr. Pimple Popper we heard our audience’s desire for more loud and clear,” says Howard Lee, president and GM of TLC. “Viewers will fall head over heels with Dr. Ragland and be captivated by her most challenging, can’t-look-away cases.”
