Stephen: The Murder that Changed a Nation and Blue Planet II are among some of the major titles nominated for Craft & Design awards by the Royal Television Society.

The awards – presented by the British forum for broadcast television and related media – consist of 29 categories, and celebrate a variety of skills and processes involved in program production.

In the documentary and factual director category, Deeyah Khan, Francis Hanly and James Rogan are nominated for White Right: Meeting the Enemy, Arena: Stanley and His Daughters and Stephen: The Murder that Changed a Nation (pictured), respectively.

Meanwhile, the photography category for docs and factual sees noms going to Andrew Muggleton for Retreat: Meditations from a Monastery; Glen Milner for Handmade in Hull; and the camera team behind BBC’s natural history juggernaut Blue Planet II, which is nominated for two awards this year.
