Facebook Watch and non-fiction and reality TV prodco 3 Ball Entertainment are prepping an interactive competition series that gives dog owners the chance to turn their furry friends into the next social media sensation.

Canine competition series World’s Most Amazing Dog will allow users from more than 35 countries the chance to showcase why their canine is the best. Facebook users submit an “audition” video of their pet, which a group of judges and the global Facebook community will vote and decide who will win US$100,000 and the title of World’s Most Amazing Dog.

When the show premieres, the highest-ranked dogs’ videos will be featured in the quarter-final competition rounds, where users and show judges will have the chance to vote on which dog they think should move forward to the semifinals and finale rounds.

Auditions and are now open for users to submit their videos.

The competition is open to user submissions from the U.S., Mexico, Canada, India, Germany, Spain, France, Vietnam, Thailand, Australia, Colombia, Indonesia, Netherlands, South Korea, Sweden, the UK, Chile, Ireland, Japan, Luxembourg, Norway, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Belgium, Czech Republic, Finland, Singapore, Ecuador, Philippines, Switzerland and some provinces in Argentina.

The competition series is based on the format Oh My Dog! from Tel Aviv-based content creator Gil Formats, and digital animal brand The Dodo will be the global distribution partner for the series.

“Dogs videos are very popular on Facebook and we’re thrilled to partner with industry leaders like 3 Ball Entertainment and The Dodo to introduce a series that not only extends the love of dogs to our users, but also shows other creators the many ways our interactive tools can be leveraged in their own endeavors.”
