Netflix has greenlit a music competition series that will feature Cardi B, Chance the Rapper and T.I. as they search for the next breakout star in hip-hop.

Rhythm + Flow, which is slated to debut in 2019, will undertake a multi-city search to uncover underground hip-hop talents while helping them to pursue their dreams.

Auditions for the 10 x 60-minute competition series will begin this fall across the U.S., including from the judges’ hometowns in Atlanta, Chicago and New York. Established rappers who hail from each city will serve as guest judges.

Chance, Cardi B, and T.I. will serve as judges and executive producers on the series. Netflix says additional artists and industry VIPs will be announced to the judging panel in the coming weeks.

Other exec producers for the project include Jesse Collins for Jesse Collins Entertainment; John Legend, Mike Jackson and Ty Stiklorius for Get Lifted Film Co.; Jeff Gaspin for Gaspin Media; Nikki Boella; and Jeff Pollack.

The project is produced by Jesse Collins Entertainment, Get Lifted Film Co. and Gaspin Media.

Additional audition information can be found here.
