Tower Productions, an All3Media and BBC Studios Cologne and Berlin-based joint venture, has named Dietlinde Stroh as managing director, effective January 2019.
Based out of Berlin, Stroh’s responsibilities will include the production of All3Media and BBC Studios formats in Germany, as well as managing sales, and having full editorial oversight of all production.
Stroh will work with BBC Studios’ and All3Media’s format teams in London and will report to the shareholders’ committee of Tower Productions.
Genre heads Miriam Tabeling, show/entertainment, and Miriam Schulze, factual entertainment, as well as head of production, Saeid Shad will report to Stroh.
Stroh has spent the past two decades in senior entertainment production roles at such companies as RTL, ZDF, Warner Brothers and Fremantle. Most recently she led the entertainment division for Talpa Germany.
Tower Productions was founded in December 2009 as a joint venture of BBC Studios and All3Media. Tower’s current productions include local adaptations of Undercover Boss and Naked Attraction.
