BBC Studios has confirmed James Wildbore as senior vice president and general manager of its Latin America/U.S. Hispanic division.

Wildbore took on the role of interim general manager in January 2018 and oversees the regional teams and business operations in Miami, São Paulo, Brazil and Mexico City. He reports into Ann Sarnoff, BBC Studios’ president of the Americas.

He joined the BBC Studios’ Miami arm in 2016 as SVP of finance and business operations for Latin America/U.S. Hispanic.

Before joining BBC Studios, Wildbore was VP of finance for BBC Worldwide Asia where he was tasked with developing and managing Asian finances while also providing commercial, operational, business development and strategic support for the business.

Prior to joining the BBC universe, Wildbore held positions at Disney and Universal in media and theatrical distribution in London, Hong Kong and Singapore.
