Movie and television website IMDb has launched the free streaming video channel IMDB Freedive on its website and all Amazon Fire TV devices in the United States.
IMDB Freedive will serve as an ad-supported channel that allows customers to watch a range of full-length movies and hit TV shows, including ABC’s The Bachelor, A&E’s Born This Way (pictured), Foxcatcher, Memento and Run Lola Run, without a subscription. The catalog will continue to evolve, with new titles added regularly.
IMDb original video series like The IMDb Show, Casting Calls and No Small Parts are also available to watch on the streaming platform.
Customers can dig deeper into the programs they are streaming on IMDb Freedive via X-Ray, which is powered by the info on IMDb about cast, crew, trivia, soundtracks and more.
“We will continue to enhance IMDb Freedive based on customer feedback and will soon make it available more widely, including on IMDb’s leading mobile apps,” said Col Needham, founder and CEO of IMDb, in a statement.
IMDb’s Freedive is currently only available to customers in the U.S.
